Piston Pumps
Powerful Delivery from Original Containers
Ram pumps are essential components in industrial dispensing technology. They enable direct material extraction from original containers such as 20-liter hobbocks or 200-liter drums. For pasty materials, they are typically used with a follower plate, while a suction tube is used for low-viscosity media.
- High delivery pressure: Ram pumps reach pressures of up to 360 bar, making them ideal for viscous 1C or 2C adhesives and sealants.
- Powerful but not highly precise: Unlike gear or eccentric screw pumps, the strength of the ram pump lies in its ability to deliver large volumes of material – not in high-precision metering or pulsation-free flow.
- Robust and low-maintenance: The design is built for durability and minimal maintenance – ideal for continuous industrial use in both automated and manual dispensing systems.
