Freezer including cooling brine

The wet freezer is a freezing unit for the 2C mixing lines of the mastermix XS and XL series. Mixed two-component adhesives and sealants react much more slowly at low temperatures; the wet freezer freezes complete mixing lines in a controlled way and bridges production interruptions economically and without solvents.

For polysulfide and polyurethane the reaction stops from approx. -25 °C, silicone barely reacts at -40 °C. After thawing at 20 °C to 50 °C the material can be processed normally. Freezing temperature and freezing time depend on the material.
